serves 6 5 c cooked chili 1 c cornmeal 2 t baking powder 1 t salt 1 t sugar 2/3 c milk 1 egg 1. preheat oven to 425 2. spoon chili into 8x8 or 9x9 inch square pan 3. bake until hot and bubbly (10-15 min) 4. while 3, sift dry ingredients, beat milk & egg, stir into mixture until smooth, pour evenly over hot chili 5. bake until top is set and golden--23-30 min. Serve in squares.
